How does Reima test its products?

Our international Quality Control team develops the quality of our products with the help of lab and field tests. For example, we test the abrasion resistance of the fabrics with a Martindale test: the testing equipment rubs the surface of the fabric with sandpaper, until a few of the threads break. The water column value is the result of a pressure test; for example the value 10 000 mm means that the fabric can withstand the pressure of a fictional 10 meter tall pillar of water, before it lets water through.
